Updates from Jess

Hey there! Things are going well with me. I've made it to chapter nine in Sweet Goodbyes and the future is looking bright. Recently, while making an addition to my list of future projects I went on a writing spree. I have begun another novel, The Glory of Greece (to be the first in a trilogy of books...maybe even a series of four)! Maybe what they (the metaphorically existing people) are right when they say that a writer should always have two projects going at the same time. I know it works for me most of time. But then there are the times when I get bored with one piece because of another...well, we won't get into that.

I have been looking into e-book publishing. I'm not sure it suits me, but I'm willing to try anything once. So, who knows, maybe I'll publish an e-book soon. So long for now!
Jess' Pick of the Week

Each week Jess will post a new book which she is reading, or has read. These range from poetry anthologies, to philosophy, to science fiction novels. As always Jess will try to shake things up by featuring at least one new or aspiring author (from www.writers.net) every month.

This week's Pick (for the week of April 7):
Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand
An intriguing tale of what life would be like if the United States began to turn to Communism.

Perhaps I should explain myself. In school -- which, yes, I do attend high school -- we were assigned a literary research paper. My assignment was to read a few of the works of Ayn Rand. Thus, I have been reading much of her lately.
